Healing Historic Trauma

Social connections are vital for communities’ health. Understanding the trauma our community members have endured and continue to face is crucial for strengthening those connections and making Red Wing a vibrant and resilient city.

The Power of Art & Culture

We will learn of our shared history as we share and learn about our cultures. Our shared home holds our shared stories. We are all related. And even if we don’t always know what it means to be related, we know deep down we want to be in harmony with each other by being good relatives.

This project’s purpose is to lift, honor, and celebrate indigenous communities and the positive future we see for the Dakota and Red Wing communities.
